Overview
Our 2026 Conference & Art Expo initiative supports Powerful Mindz Inc.’s presence at national and regional conventions, art expos, and conferences that center animation, comics, digital media, and culturally rooted storytelling. Through Anime for Education, we showcase original comics and animated works, host panel discussions, and create learning spaces that highlight Black artistic expression, the legacy of Black artists, and educational frameworks that intentionally include university students, emerging professionals, and community-based talent.
These events serve as platforms for:
Displaying youth, intern, and professional animation/comic projects
Facilitating panels on Black artistic legacy, storytelling, and liberatory education
Building pipelines between higher education, industry, and community creators
Expanding viewership, membership, and youth participation in Anime for Education programs
Our 2026 goals include attendance at Philadelphia-based expos and national conferences, such as FAN EXPO Philadelphia, to grow our audience, strengthen partnerships, and increase youth access to creative and technical career pathways.
